I bought into this stock because the cafes are a hit. That’s why I’m still holding and I’m still long. But at some point we need to see a higher level of execution from management here. Dozens of competitor cafes are opening across the world and Snakes is falling behind, dealing with audits and indie game development and plush toys. I’m not a mindless long, I’m not happy with the direction of the company. It’s stretched too thin and it’s not running efficiently. I would want to see much more of the focus on cafe expansion, which is this business’s bread and butter and only real differentiation. 1 cafe/ year isn’t going to cut it. Without cafe dominance in the US you’ll never achieve distribution/fulfillment/publishing dominance in the US.
