That's the ol "Buy on the rumor, Sell on the news" routine.

Should not be a major factor with us (I think) for a couple of reasons.

All they can do to "sell" is sell stocks they own, as almost none are available to short, so the "selling" won't be exasperated by new shorts.

Any who do sell, for profit taking or "the charts" or "sell on the news" or the moon is in Libra or whatever crazy reason, I think there will be plenty of institutional buyers to pick those shares up and support the price (for the most part).

On a big jump up, there will always be sellers for profit taking, Hell (I'm not clicking sell"), BUT I will be placing trailing # staggered stop losses on about 1/3 of my shares.
