Keeping the V price down is the name of the game...Long before JT said V is a volume play and not a price play...I posted the same thing on this very board. Fast nickels beat slow dimes and Walmart can get the customer because they can offer the cheapest price because of their huge volume which means they are the main support for their suppliers...Same rules hold for Amarin and the generics..For a generic to be successful it must be able to offer the drug to patients at a lower price than the Brand...If Amarin can keep their prices lower than the generics that should destroy the generics...Vascepa volume should allow them to undercut the generics...Just like Walmart..Meaning, the patents might be irrelevant....
