Undoubtedly, the longer term charts are all showing much higher highs than we've seen recently ahead. As you state, it's not going to be a straight line, but things are clearly 'different' now. That's what my "don't fight the Fed" statement from early was based on. If they are now going into easing mode, the headwinds we have grown accustomed to in gold are gone.
