If you tell me that right now it is Thursday in St. Louis, MO, that is incorrect and you can argue all day that it is correct, but that doesn't make it so. Right now it is Wednesday in St. Louis, MO. End of argument. -dmlcento

How would the two making these differing arguments (1. it is now Thursday in MO; 2. no, it is now Wednesday in MO) substantiate either claim? With evidence. What evidence? An established medium that we all know is reliable and scientifically valid. Such as:

This would provide exceptionally strong evidence that argument 2. above is correct.

Would spending all of one's time trying to ascertain who the person is and their qualifications that made statement no. 1 help disprove statement no. 1? What if we got the FBI involved and they ran an exhaustive background check on arguer of point no. 1, and we determined that they were a meteorologist, and purveyor of argument no. 2 was a bathroom remodeler? Would that de facto negate the accuracy of, or evidence to support argument no.2 in favor of argument no.1?

Point made, we hope. And so, with Amarin, our arguments are valid or invalid based on the strength of the evidence we present along with our claims, not "who we are."
