We are invested in a PRE-REVENUE company, that is going to market as we speak. Although I have been in contact with Mr. Chan for years I am in no way speaking for him, what I post is my opinion only. That being said, I get the impression that Mr. Chan believes 100% in his product, and he has proven this by putting his money where his mouth is and investing his own personal savings into the company in order to fund the company without diluting shareholders.
As GrandS eluded to, the investors that matter are the investors that are looking for $0.50, $1, or multiple dollars (long term value), because I believe that is how Mr. Chan sees the future value of the company. If shareholders are looking for .05-.10 I question their motives and belief in the company, and their interests are not in the best interest of the company.
If Mr. Chan put out a fluff PR that they are pursuing deals/agreements in the US, Asia, and Canada and could not elaborate with specifics or speak to generating revenue it would at best cause a pop in shareprice only to work its way back to the .04-.05 serving no purpose other then making traders and flippers some money.
I have not spoken much with GrandeS but his posts are spot on and he obviously has a lot of knowledge in this field, I would encourage everybody to go back and read up on his ALRT posting history as there is a lot of great info and perspective there.
Lastly, before anybody says something along the lines of "every shareholder matters, regardless of their intentions" let me just say that yes, a CEO's job is to act in the best interest of their shareholders, and keep in mind Mr. Chan owns over 50% of the shares. But a fluff PR to reassure a few skittish shareholders, or to allow a few traders a chance to sell for a nice gain is only what's best for a handful of people and not the majority. I am more then happy to wait an additional few months or even longer if that's what it takes to get our first revenue generating PR because I am not looking to sell at .10. I plan on holding until the full value of the company is realized and the shareprice is either significantly higher ($.50? $1?) or ALRT is bought out.
