I found this NatGas inventory chart interesting -

(Note: when they say 'stocks', they mean natural gas storage inventory 'in stock')

From the above link, I found these -

I look at this NatGas inventory graph as above zero = surplus = lower prices, and below zero = deficit = higher prices.
An annual supply and demand sine wave.
Doesn't get more transparent than this. Plan accordingly!
