Solar bid by LA department of water and power. 3.3 cents/kwh with storage included. Further expansion beyond contracted amount cost 2.0 cents/kwh with storage. Second lowest to Saudi Arabia and there it is a speck on the desert map. At these prices, there will be desalination plants up and down the coast.
