I reiterate that when Bitcoin runs Joe Retailer does not take the time to research, they just want in on the hype. Any company that contains the words "Bitcoin" "Crpto" "Cryptocurrency" "Blockchain" et al and is cheap will be bought whether the company has good fundamentals and charts or not.

I would counter that another valid reason that Hive has not followed is that the hype has not really started yet. The news of Bitcoin's rise from $3k has not yet hit "main stream media" Once it does, I believe, all miners will experience a rise. A rising tide (Bitcoin) will raise all boats. But not without the hype.
