No, she stated this just before the 2014 ASM. She played us with a ten day head fake. Do you think I like this? You are mad because you think she conducted an efficacy IA in 2015. I'm mad because I think, in hindsight, she knew what the real timeline was back in late December 2014. I'm relieved, because I think they avoided unblinded efficacy IAs.

Later when we finally learned about the yearly blinded "spring refreshes," that started in 2015. NWBO (through the CRO) was collecting, tabulating and analyzing the blinded data.

They stated in 2014 at the ASM (to posters there) they had no intention to stop for efficacy or futility. They did not make this an official public statement....only heresy to a small audience. It looks like it turned out to be true. Dr. Hoos stated ten days before the ASM, do not conduct efficacy IAs too early or you will destroy a trial -- like AZN did before that time.

Now Dr. Bosch and the rest of NWBO are emphasizing not conducting an efficacy data lock until the SAP is etched in stone. What else could this mean, except that they waited to have an efficacy IA conducted after the SAP was rewritten and thereafter finalized?
