any non-us legacy holders get a letter from WMILT to send in an updated W8 form by June 30? I just did.

the exact language in their letter was this:

"Therefore, to retain your ability to receive potential distributions from the WMI Liquidating Trust, you are required to submit an updated and recently signed form W-8 by June 30, 2019"

the timing of this seems curious.. hopefully a sign of something to come..
