“Me only” is great in technology front but most government will stop monopoly for all kind of reason.

“Me only” is not great in mfr front. No purchasing manager can/should allow “single sourcing” (IF ONE HAS A CHOICE).

BMG has not established itself as MUST HAVE choice for any product application (to date). “Foldable” might change that.

Purchasing manager will swallow their pride (and take risk) if Visionary CEO put a gun in their head. COO will step in and push “multi source” for compromise.

Apple needs Foxconn but also need to carry Pegatron.

It is Foxconn duty to be the “best” at what they do when compare to “second source” vendor like Pegatron.

As of to date, Lugee still holds the trump card (no pub intended) with best in class BMG machine (1000c). It can spit out up to 350 grams per minute when factor in efficiency.

In the meanwhile, Engel is still at 60 grams per minute.

I am not aware of any machine innovation from ProMetalTech front despite having a rich uncle named Wintop.

Same does with Glassimetal pancake machine. While it can stamp out in less than a minute but it can only produce “mini pancake” at less than 80 grams.

In short, having competition is Essential for a healthy ECO system. It is also important to be the “leader” of the group.

In CE market, “Low Cost / High Performance / Guaranteed Timely Delivery” is the name of the game.

High Stake game in hand. For those who can’t stand the heat they should not be in the kitchen.
