Not read anywhere that this would be a function of S1R agonism

I am jumping to conclusions by way of the MECP2 mutation, the action of the S1R, modulation of Autophagy, either corrects the deviation, or causes apoptosis and recycling of the cell. Would this not be a correcting of the mutation, by not letting the disease replicate and cause a cascade of problems? Its not CRISPR, replacement of DNA genes, but using the body's own defense to correct unfolded protein response, and genetic mutations. Has this drug not shown the ability to stimulate the survival response, and shown not only a positive signal in a Syndrome, but also in a familial disease?
