I don't know.
But, any stock I own that I purchase through my brokerage accounts doesn't ask me for my email.

In the past, I have received "Letters to SHAREHOLDERS"...not "stockholders". That terminology doesn't exist in legitimate investment notifications.

This whole thing makes me skeptical.
