Well, IMO, if a company can become successful on it's own merit, then it wouldn't have to hope anxiously that a "White Knight" partner to come and rescue them. Furthermore, speaking of a buyout, maybe BIEL would be more attractive to a prospective suitor for buyout if it showed some chops. Thus, meaning, if BIEL could turn the worm and become profitable, then they wouldn't have to look longingly to the horizon, thus, waiting for a buyout paladin. Oh! Yes! BIEL would be that better mousetrap (à la, Mr. Emerson). So, IMO, your premise is upside down.
