From someone who lived in the financial reporting area, It makes good sense to me that numbers would start getting thrown around about this time at the end of the quarter.

Makes sense for a small Co … but from someone who lived in the financial reporting area, it does not makes good sense to me that numbers would start getting thrown around about this time at the end of the quarter only … I would be surprised if they do not have a monthly closing process.

To avoid any doubt: I do not say that the blackout isn't quarterly report related.

The blackout (most likely) is a business as usual, was prespecified. I do not think that they keep their lips tight (about all relevant things, e.g. any talk about EU or partnership) but make an extra blackout … not likely.
