Many years ago when I was in university I bought a little book, "The Lazy Man's Way to Riches" by Joe Karbo.

I see it's still available.

Anyway one of the examples he uses in the book is an ad that has now been running for probably over 50 years, basically unchanged. Probably is still in things like Popular Mechanics etc.

NOW SEE THROUGH WALLS, SEE THROUGH DOORS

There is drawing of a guy, a wall and on the other side of the wall a naked woman.
