I agree, the halt was completely unwarranted... IMO. And I'd bet, the FDA knows it.

My thinking is that the company wants to maintain a very good relationship with the FDA, especially as they near data lock, and BLA filings. And if everything goes smoothly, there will be similar such filings for new INDs, and new BLAs, and supplemental BLAs. In other words, getting along well with the FDA is in everyone's future best interests. In other words, if L is approved, bygones will be bygones. That's my opinion, anyway.
