Larry Smith did not state NWBO was pursuing overall survival as the primary endpoint. This would be inside information. He instead pointed out that median PFS and median OS are not the be all end all endpoints. Your ego aside, Dr. Bosch's presentation mentioned both tumor progression and overall survival that will be evaluated in the final analysis. If you'd been paying attention Maverick, you would know that the key is a long tail does not present a proportional hazard ratio. It instead presents a non proportional hazard ratio. If you bothered to pay attention instead of writing ridiculous sentences, you'd understand that the first DCVax-brain/L trials actually had even more impressive PFS separation from historical than OS did. No one knows what the SAP will try to maintain, but Dr. Bosch certainly did not indicate OS would be the new primary endpoint. If you understood what posters were trying to say, trials are not necessarily based on median separation even when they are proportional hazard SAPs, however, proportional hazards are median centric, whereas non proportional hazards are not.

If the primary is switched to OS, then that is what the statisticians found would be appropriate from blended review. No one from NWBO has indicated this would be the case. Larry has not indicated this is the case. Only you are spreading the rumor.
