knowing I can't consistently pick tops and bottoms I figured out a strategy that works for me. I stage my buys on stocks that I like with high volatility... scaling in allows me to start a position on the way down and when it keeps going down I can cost average and if it doesn't go down (I happened to guess the bottom) at least I have some shares to ride back up

I also look at every trade as a new trade and don't play the if only I would have or I should have and I could have...hind-site trading will kill my strategy
