NWBO has been hanging on by a thread for years now, and in my opinion, that in itself is quite impressive. You know what that tells me? It tells me that for all the people saying DCVAX-L doesn't work..."the trial has failed"..."the company will fail", "the management sucks", there exists just as many people to the contrary, who have faith that DCVAX-L will in fact be part of the SOC for GBM treatment in the near future, and the company will inevitably succeed. I've been invested in this company since 2017 simply because I believe in the science as well as Linda Liau's motive:
"It was her mother’s death from cancer that inspired Liau to pursue her current course. Her mom had long been Liau’s chief cheerleader, encouraging her that she could do whatever she wanted to do in life. Liau was in the third year of her residency at UCLA when her mother was diagnosed with cancer that had started in her breast and spread to her brain. Her mother died a short time later. She was just 51."
I believe that when you have people like Linda Liau involved in the creation of DCVAX-L, you have not only the science behind its creation, but the emotional aspect as well, the passion. This is when I believe magic happens. A brilliant woman, out to avenge her mother's death...
Just in the two years and some change that I've been invested, I've watched countless individuals on this board say the company was doomed and the sky was falling. Here we are in June of 2019, and guess what...NWBO is still here. Not only are they alive, they are on the edge of revealing the results of this long awaited phase III trial. There is no turning back for me now, and I wouldn't anyway. This investment has been with me in many ups and downs in my own life. It's kind of a part of me at this point. There are others who have been invested for much longer than myself, and I think it's safe to say that this is very much a part of them too. Good luck to all longs! It's coming!
