Nick came to Jnana from AstraZeneca (AZ), where he held the positions of chief scientist and head of neuroscience discovery after prior roles of increasing responsibility at Merck, Wyeth and Pfizer. In these roles, Nick led or was responsible for multiple programs that delivered clinical candidates or re-positioned clinical assets for new indications. Throughout his career he has initiated and led multiple successful partnerships across therapeutic targets and platforms. Nick recently provided scientific oversight on the AZ incubator space in Waltham and was an AZ-Flagship Pioneering fellow. He is an adjunct professor at Tufts Medical School, an honorary professor at the University of Glasgow, and a fellow of the American College of Neuropsychophamacology. Nick has also published over 130 peer-reviewed publications. Nick received his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences (Genetics) from Pembroke College, Cambridge and completed his doctorate and postdoctoral studies at University College London.
