PS: It dawns on me that perhaps LI was ordered to stay completely out of the business located at LQMT - LF and he is simply protecting himself from some governmental (i.e. China) recriminations.

Hell, that is as likely than all the rest of the speculation regarding his high profile absence/ ambivalent attitude towards the company in which he owns the majority of stock.
