The farmer has plowed and prepped the fertile ground after the first rains have come and gone. After much work the seeds of the crop have been planted, some even during stormy periods but, with persistence and patience of the farmer completed non the less. The farmer has seen the first signs of germination has just barely begun but is not worried as he knows that most will happen in abundance once the rains return. Many doubt the farmers soil preparation, his timing, and even the choice of crop he planted. Nonetheless the work has been completed and now the farmer is readying the farm for the harvest, fixing the storage bins, making sure he has transportation lined up to get to the market and enough workers to help haul in the large crop.

Soon it is time to rest. Let us pray, and be thankful for the many blessings from our Lord and trust that he will provide the rains needed for the harvest. Ohh, and by the way its not just any crop its a mustard seed crop!
