Asst. Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan has authorized the deployment of about 1,000 additional troops to the CENTCOM region to counter Iran. A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III transports service members and cargo from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar while supporting Operation Resolute Support, Jan. 13, 2016.

What domestic problems? - You obviously have not kept up with the news.
Trump can't fix everything at once when democrats refuse to help! - For TWO years Trump had a Repub Senate and Repub House and he chose to focus solely on giving the 1% a gift. For TWO+ years we've been hearing about Trump's "infrastructure week", yet nothing has come from the WH...Then on Thursday Sen Minority Leader Schumer and House Speaker Pelosi came to a meeting called by Trump to discuss plans for infrastructure - Trump showed up with no notes, no plans, and within 3 minutes he walked out of the meeting and appeared at an already setup podium with already prepared signs having a temper tantrum (again) and said he won't work with the Dems until all investigations of him/his campaign stop. Give me a break! - saying, democrats refuse to help! is just not true. The Dems can walk and chew gum at the same time - Trump cannot. Trump has no plans other than to put on shows for his fans to get re-elected.

What a better way for a president to garner votes for re-election when he still hasn't reached a 50% approval rating than begin a military build-up - GW Bush did it prior to his re-election, now Trump will try it. How'd it work out for GW Bush and the country?
