I’m not especially concerned about this aspect of the SEC investigation. However…

The agency is also reviewing the aircraft manufacturer’s accounting to make sure its financial statements have appropriately reflected potential impacts from the problems

This may result in BA making public disclosures about rebates to carriers to compensate them for 737 down time, and these rebates could be larger than some investors think.
