NCLucky, that's funny because I pictured the same thing. The Aurora logo plastered on the walls of the UFC rings, where all the cameras will pick it up, just like you might see UW Medicine or Seattle Cancer Care Alliance ads here in Seattle at the Mariners or Seahawks games.

Actually, the more I think about this coupling with the UFc, the more I think this has Nelson Peltz's name written all over it! You mentioned that this deal didn't get done without the approval of the parent company that owns the UFC. A parent company which has lots of tentacles (professional bull riding, Miss Universe, etc.).

What does Mr. Peltz bring to Aurora. he brings CONNECTIONS...not just in packaged goods. Mr Peltz has connections throughout MANY diffferent industries. He could get a meeting with someone like the Chairman of WME with one (or perhaps two) phone calls. Hell who knows, maybe he's even a current or former board member.

My point is that just like the old Donald Sutherland and Will Smith movie "Six Degrees of Separation"....Peltz probably has maybe only TWO degrees of separation. He mingles with other billionaires and corporate bigwigs.

"The Aurora-UFC research partnership creates a global platform to launch targeted educational and awareness campaigns, while creating numerous opportunities to accelerate our global CBD business," said Aurora Chief Executive Terry Booth.

This is an opportunity to get a lot of eyeballs.

Marketing 101....get visibility. Get eyeballs.

I smell Peltz all over this.
