You hit the nail on the head AC.

Now imagine if you had a nationwide network of independent reps that were fully supported by VirTra with training, sales matl, marketing matl, company visits, etc.

And these ind reps knew that if they sold a basic no frills V300 for $250k they would pocket a commission of $10,000. And they also knew if they sold the same system with a few extra options for $300k they would pocket $15,000 or if they sold the same with a bunch of bells and whistles and ext warranties and a bunch of extras for $400k they would pocket $25,000.

Do you think they would be selling some systems?

Also, the good ind reps are super savvy and they know what the budgets and expectations of the customer. One might sell the basic V300 for $250k and 10 miles down the road they might sell the exact same one for $350k in order to get a much bigger commission. This is doable due to the knowledge of the rep.

All that said, it would also be very easy for VirTra-Corporate to some up with The Price for every single quote for each rep. This is probably how it would need to be handled for the first 12 - 18 months until everything is well understood.

VirTra should and could try this sort of approach in a single State or maybe 2 or 3 states and then when they have the bugs out, begin to expand it across the region. The other huge benefit is that the number of VirTra sales/marketing employees required to support this sort of network is far LESS than they have today! And it could support $300mil in annual sales EASILY.
