Yes it wouldn’t happen because it never happened. Apple did not bid on that turd. This is a tactic straight out of the penny stock playbook to pump the stock up, create a buyout rumor when the company and stock is in hell. These rumors started in March 2013, which started the run from $35 to $190.

The only thing to raise an eyebrow at is why someone brought the rumor back up when the stock was hitting fresh 52 week lows.
