Shareholders and employees can also benefit.

I've often thought if I was fortunate enough to make many millions as a CEO of a company, I would HAVE to evaluate just how much remuneration for ME is fair as compared to others in the company.

How many times have we seen some executive come into a long existing company that has already been through the success process and them get some outrageous salary for mostly sitting in the chair of whoever before them built the company? How in good conscience can a person come in to a company and just be a 'minder'. A title. A head. Just monitor everything is going okay. And they rake in millions if not billions.

Just like the Walton Family. My wife knew Sam Walton and would eat lunch with him way back when he only had a handful of stores. Today, that family has pocketed nearly 200 Billion Dollars and it is just sitting in their bank accounts. What can they do with that much money? While I agree they deserve reaping the rewards of the now deceased Sam, they have more money than they could ever spend. The current director of Walmart gets many millions a year. Why not share some of that wealth. I am FAR from a socialist. Never, never would I vote for someone who espouses changing America to one of socialism. BUT . . . there IS a time that individuals should do a self-evaluation and determine how much they could spare to help others. And I don't mean building sporting arenas or making contributions to the Olympics or something like that. I mean, give up a portion of their salary and share it with those employees who are actually the ones doing all the work.

If I owned a successful business and had way more income than I needed, I would HAVE to be inclined to take out a certain portion of it and hand it down to those who worked for me and made me wealthy. Why hoard it? To me, that is the most selfish thing on Earth you could do. Hoard your money that you couldn't spend in 100 lifetimes and see your employees barely able to feed their families?

That's my 'sermon' for the day!
