Delek invested multiple times using different mediums over the course of Tau’s drilling. I suspect something piqued their interest. Assuming TXSO forfeits their 5% interest, that would leave GSPE with 30% interest in Tau. That 30% interest should be enough to drill Corvette without any partners, but that wouldn’t seem like the best course of action (I.e. no partners)... GSPEs PR left more questions then answers and I suspect Delek’s interest in Tau and GSPEs prospects and techniques are very real based on the money invested... would love to get some more information from GSPE, but something tells me that will not be happening anytime soon.
