Hope springs eternal. That 300 mil has been tossed around since the first presentation I read, along with estimates for every deep and shallow target. 0 for 1.5, so far. The next set of details from the company will be most interesting. I really want to see what they do about capital raising, and would like to hear more specifically why the move to Corvette vs soldiering on at Tau, by far the biggest target in the portfolio, assuming they have/can raise capital to attack that 22k' subsalt well. I have to think txso is out now, so that 5% will get reallocated to the remaining or new partners(s) but any new capital they can raise will come at a cost, and given that Tau is temp abandoned with no clear future path as far as anyone knows, the capital costs will get steeper. What % does GSPE get left with when its all said and done? Right now it doesn't really matter, but if they actually do prove a decent deposit in one of these targets, those % points could be material, but certainly less material without Tau.
