Since when did linkedin define legitimacy?

Linkedin is mainly for snooty people to collect followers just like facebook collecting friends.

In other words, most professionals I know think LI is crap.

The fact remains that this is still in the very early stages.
It can't be judged until we see what they are going to do.

I commend them for starting with a nicer website with an actual business description.
