There are no maintenance issues with the Tristars.

The aircraft were the RAF's front-line MRTT right up to the day they were retired - as my subject matter expert posts have showed.

They have been kept in a fully airworthy condition - with a current US Airworthiness Certificate issued - by GJD Services - a top notch UK company who have been paid to do anti-deterioration runs on the aircraft - including full power on the RB 211 engines.

Also, in the unlikely event that $TMPS has any unforeseen issues in the future, I'm in a position to put them in touch with the former senior Flight Engineer / Refueling Instructor on the Tristar fleet who I'm sure will be happy to advise them - he was after all the principal subject matter expert on the aircraft's refueling equipment for the UK Ministry of Defence.

Anyone who thinks the US Navy would award a contract to a company with a fleet of aircraft unable to meet their requirements is a moron IMO.
