That’s the somewhat surprising part. When it did become clear under Obama that the govt WAS intentionally trying to nationalize/takeover the housing market I could understand it. Hated it but at least I had some understanding as to the why of it all. As muddy as these waters have been I also understand why the entire process is so difficult w players on both sides, actually numerous sides, all wanting different outcomes. Too much power in and around government is all I can say.
Thought for sure a President w an “R” next to his/her name would right those wrongs but here we are.
At a minimum....at least they are saying the right things and sentiments have changed slightly
Obama actually slammed us in his state of the union address.
Those were NOT good times haha.
All said and done, we are in a better place right now. Not great but absolutely not as horrible as it was in the beginning
