Sunday Night Top 8
Per my usual, comments taken before judges comments and ratings 1-5 stars.
Walker Burroughs - Crazy Little Thing Called Love, I was worried when I heard his song choice, but it was better than I thought it would be. 3 1/2 stars.
Madison VanDenburg - The Show Must Go On, Adam gave her some great advice, and she did very well with the song. 4 1/2 stars.
Laine Hardy and Laci Kaye Booth - Jackson, I like both Laci and Laine, and I love this song, however, with this combo I expected more, both were weak, hell, I would say the were hiding in the bad, it was both weak and lack emotion, a mid level effort at best. 3 1/2 stars.
Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon - Who Wants To Live Forever, This guy has a lot of talent, but I believe he could have done better with this, he needs to put a little more umph in it. Still, it was a decent effort. 3 stars.
Alejandro Aranda - Under Pressure, Wow, I am sure some will think tjhis guy s he seems to have a lot of people fooled, but again I say he is a 1-trick-pony and I am tired of his ass; another overly soft and weak performance. 2 1/2 stars.
Alyssa Raghu and Wade Cota - Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Not a good pairing and even a worse song choice; yep, it sucked. 3 stars.
Jeremiah and Madison - A Million Dreams, I didn't care for this, but I don't care for the song; they did pretty well it, although I thought Jeremiah was weak. 3 stars.
Laine Hardy - Fat Bottomed Girls, it looks like Laine is going with Rock as his thing; this song proves it, and it was a good performance. 4 stars.
Laci Kay Booth - Love of My Life, I need more effort from this girl, she can sing, but she too needs more umph in her performances, still it was a pretty good, better than I had expected when I heard what song she chose. 4 stars.
Alejandro Aranda and Walker Burroughs - Mrs. Robinson, This team should be named Meek & weak, these two were too soft (quiet) and the band was too loud; they were hiding in the band, they messed up a great song. 2 1/2 stars.
Wade Cota - We Are The Champions, Wrong song choice, bad performance. when you cut your words short/sharp and ignore the cadence of song you remove the emotion of the song. 1 star.
Alyssa Raghu - Somebody to Love, not her best performance but still rock solid. 3 1/2 stars.

America sends Home: Alyssa a& Walker.
I would have sent home: Alejandro & Wade.
My top 3: Laci, Laine and Madison.
The judges make the right decision in not using the save.
America did well this week, although I thought Alejandro was way worse them Alyssa.
