My Take on the Show

1) Walker- The vocal was average at best, tried to perform, but admittingly seemed very staged the performance. Just average at best for me, and I'm probably over grading based on expectations coming in, being so low. Grade C

2) Madison- She can flat out sing, it really is that simple. Slight imperfections on the vocal, but a very difficult song in degree of difficulty as usual. Overall Very Good Performance. Grade B+

3) Laci & Layne- The first duet of the night. A slightly above average duet, I actually thought Laci drowned out Layne voice on it for the most part. Grade C+

4) Jeremiah- Started off kind of lousy, may of been nervous with his parents there. But Midway maybe a little before though the vocal got excellent, the second half of the vocal was by far the best of anything we heard tonight outside of one duet. The problem is the beginning wasn't great so that does take away from the score. I give him a very good performance overall because 2/3 of the song was excellent, if the first half was good it would of been a A++++. But instead the beginning grade it down for me to a very good. Grade B+

5) Alejandro- Can't understand him 1/2 the song, I thought it was a mumbling performance and a bad vocal. I just don't get the Appeal. Grade D

6) Wade & Alyssa- It was just a average at best duet. The voices didn't go tether, the song in my opinion didn't work for either of them. Actually I would say slightly below average. Grade C-

7) Madison & Jeremiah- The best duet of the night by a country mile. Actually I thought this was the best performance of the night for me. And Jeremiah did more than hold his own against Madison who in my opinion is the best singer in this competition by a decent margin. They sang well together and individually. Grade A

8) Laine- Not my favorite song, but he sounded good for the most part as usual. Good performance. Grade B

9) Laci- I thought she had a really solid and emotional vocal in fact probably her best performance in the last couple of weeks by a country mile. I thought she was very good tonight. Grade B+

10) Alejandro & Walker- The last duet of the night. Now normally I don't pay attention to these things, but it was so bad it was noteworthy, and that is how both of these guys were dressed. wow. Now on to the most important thing the singing the voices blended fine, but the performance sucked the life out of the place, and was super boring. Average at best performance, average at best vocal. Really the only thing that was good about the performance was the voices blended well. Grade C-

11) Wade- As I suspected there are a few songs that his voice would sound good on, because his voice seems pretty much done to me. And on this song I thought the vocal was not very good and I'm being nice. Grade D

12) Alyssa-She can sing and I like the song, but the combo of these two didn't work for me for some reason. Should of been much better than it was, something missing can't put a finger on it. Just average. Grade C

I would of eliminated Alejandro & Wade

They eliminate
Walker- Although not one of my two had to go as well.
Alyssa- Not very popular, she is a way better singer on paper than most here, probably is things are never played on paper, and I kind of got what America didn't see tonight as something was seriously missing here.

As for Alejandro and Wade they can't go soon enough in my opinion. Anyways that is my take.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
