The powers that be do have a great deal to lose. They had their chances both legally and illegally. They chose to gamble and are about to lose big time. Litigation is not about immediate gratification any more than investment in NWBO has been. I started investing in 2012 knowing this and having a plan but also hopeful that proof would have been sufficient by about 2015. I believe that proof was sufficient then but not with old standards and vested interests still in play. Even Dr. Linda Liau indicated then, October 2015, that there should be a way for DCVax-L to be proven effective without being forced into defeat by old standards. So NWBO waited for the system to become more maleable while the data became stronger and more well developed.

Your post would suggest that big banks and others can not be taken to task by lawsuits and that is incorrect. More than one has been forced to pay fines and given cease and desist orders. Those mosquito bites might just lead to an infection that creates a serious situation for one or more sooner or later. I think that we are at that point now with a systemic problem being better and better documented. Mr. Cofer Black and others are taking their time on this to get it right and I do not believe for a minute that the investigation is just about NWBO even though there seems to be a substantial part that might be verifiable as related to NWBO. The length of time involved indicates that a much bigger investigation is taking place in parallel with that of NWBO and the fish being caught up in the nets seem to be getting bigger. That kind of trail usually ends up with some major changes being made. The fat cats are only insulated as well as the weakest link can protect them. Some of those links appear to be bending if not breaking under the strain. Once tensions rise enough there will be opportunity. The combined weight of credible support from UCLA, Fraunhofer and Kings College will also be no easy task for anyone to overcome once validation of L is secured and they can all talk freely.
Patient demand will be impossible for naysayers to overcome especially if there was a compassionate use of improved Direct that led to a cure and that becomes well known public knowledge. The floodgates will be opened with no way to close them.

The attacks on L have been to slow down Direct but Direct looks like it is ready to prove itself right now and with the right endpoints and the right avenue of approach Direct will be commercially available to patients long before a "cure rate" is established. The focus of course is still on L but Direct will bring the haymaker to big pharma and put some lights out. Anyone who failed to plan for this planned to fail.
