Everything, EVERYTHING comes down to $$$. In prior years, politicians simply wouldn't bet their careers on MJ because the $$$ didn't back them. Then slowly, enough $$$ came in locally that groups of lower politicians would team up to support. Now the $$$ is there, the economic tide has turned.

There is enough money to make it to front line politics, so it is inevitable, period. Just a matter of time, just currently the government is thinking about how they can set it up to make the most money out of it.
