Responsibilities Include :

Serves as the primary initiator, driver, and closer of high value business relationships that are in line with Amarin’s vision, strategy and long range plans

Sources product or company partnership opportunities from an extensive global network of BD contacts

Works within a cross functional team (R&D, Commercial and business development) while conducting an in-depth and multi-faceted opportunity assessment (i.e. due diligence)

Builds and maintains product and company data rooms to support out-licensing / divestiture opportunities

Prepare, evaluate and present robust financial modeling and analyses to value projects and terms

Identifies potential partners and develops appropriate positioning and communication strategy on out-licensing projects

Assists in preparing business development documents, presentations, and briefing books

Assists with deal construction and negotiations

Supports the development of corporate, product and / or therapeutic area strategies

Develops, participates and delivers high level impactful presentations to key prospects and stakeholder

Leads cross functional teams where some individuals are not direct reports but play critical role in supporting Business Development activities and efforts

Support current and future partners, and serve as an alliance manager on as needed basis

Domestic and global travel up to 40%.
