No, My Bets Are (Relatively) Big

It seems like you’re hedging your bet a bit on A2-73’s effectiveness....

Didn’t word that post as cleverly as I should have.

I intended that it reflect only on the oft-posted comments that Anavex 2-73 simply can’t and won’t demonstrate profoundly positive treatment and prevention outcomes in any of the three human clinical trials it’s in.

In fact, based the Anavex science data I've scrutinized and understand as a biologist, I have high confidence that Anavex 2-73 will yield significant, unparalleled treatment outcomes for all three of the diseases being tested; Rett syndrome, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s — far more than only enhanced, healthful sleep.

As several of my previous posts have implied, Anavex 2-73 (and later, Anavex 3-71) will provide successful treatments for a multitude of central nervous system and other diseases; all with mitochondrial dysfunction or autophagy involvement.

I don’t have tens of thousands of dollars of discretionary funds to play the biotech market. I have a very moderate AVXL position, which in five years may be worth three orders of magnitude beyond what I paid for my shares. I’ll be quite comfortable when that happens.

But, if the only positive clinical outcome of the Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s trials is improved, facilitated sleep, I’ll be ahead by only one or two orders of magnitude.

I win, in either case. The former, big-things outcomes are more likely, by far, however.
