Ummmm. The tank is 65,000 gal. How much water do you think is used in back washing a filter? That water coming out of the back wash is not going into the tank. So the only volume of water that could be considered a water change is the water capacity of the filter minus the displacement of the filter media. That is not going be very much compared to 65,000 gal.
