Got a weird issue with the Taskbar Desktop function.
It's irritating because shortcuts or mouse/keyboard commands will not function until Explorer finishes rendering the menu.
It takes about 30+ seconds to accomplish the task. Once it does, clicking
the taskbar Desktop button goes back to opening immediately, but then reverts back to delaying again.
I've tried docking it in different positions and monitors, toggling back and forth between locking/unlocking the taskbar,
Showing/Hiding the Icons on the desktop, re-booting etc.
I remember this happened before, several years ago but I don't remember what I did to correct it...
I hide the desktop icons and rely on the Taskbar Desktop for access to them.
I'm running Win 7 Home displaying Windows Classic appearance.
