For a career change to Finance, an MBA from top 20 B school is a must. The lowest you want to aim for is NYU Stern. May I ask your age. I think anything over 35 is tough to find a first job on Wall Street. I got my MBA in 1995 when I was 30 years old and I was considered old. The reason I struck out on my own is because I hate to work for superiors and I thought I had learned enough during my 3-yr trading career at Merrill Lynch to make a good living trading my own account.
