Don't believe that advice was from the auditor. I think the CFO Squad recommended that so if the FY'18 audit resulted in significant adjustments the '19 quarterlies would not need to be adjusted and restated. The auditors should not officially recommend postponing issuing Financial Statements. The Financials & accounting preparation are the company's responsibility. Auditors merely review the company's Financials, books etc and submit an opinion on their correctness after suggesting adjustment to the company based on various auditing and accounting standards.
