I’m sure this is a naive question but with all of the buyout talk on the board and some of the valuations bantered about I wonder why a company like Phizer would pay 40, 60, or 80 dollars a share when they could buy the shares on the market for the current PPS? With 30 plus million shares traded yesterday they could’ve accumulated approximately 10 percent of the company. Now if they accumulate 51 percent of the company wouldn’t they in essence control the company? And don’t they have a certain amount of time before they would have to file with the SEC?
