Let Me Dispel Confusion About Institutional Investors

Almost 100% of institutional funds are restricted in what stock they can invest in. The usual restrictions include the market it trades on, the price it trades at, the daily average liquidity and the industry.

The only "institutional" investors who might be able to buy now are specific hedge funds and some family offices. They represent less than 1% of possible institutional investors.
