Why would Missling divulge at a conference that the PDD investigators in Spain are requesting an extension, if it wasn't positive? Missling is guarded with what he says, why would he say that when he didn't have to say that?
Gonna get myself in trouble playing devils advocate in reply to your question, but here goes.
Perhaps the investigators aren’t seeing anything and feel like an extension might be a good idea to allow longer for the drug to work? Perhaps the sites want to keep earning money to run longer trials?
Just sayin’. Why would he bring it up if he didn’t have too? Well he would probably like to finish off that LPC ELOC and a positive upbeat mood among investors would be helpful. Might not be a bad idea to do some more 375 share purchases again as well because insider purchases are pleasing to investors.
That, or the drug is working and investigators are seeing unprecedented improvements and everyone invested in Anavex is really close to a financial windfall of impressive proportions.
The latter is definitely more fun to contemplate.
