I will beg to differ. Any revelation of their financial position would give insider info (material news) to one, possibly a few (posters here) instead of the investing community in general (news release).

If Jim would tell you "Niocorp has exactly $89,000 left in the bank but financing news is forthcoming." That would be giving out material information, and henceforth, illegal since it didn't come from a PR/news release.

If Jim would tell you "Niocorp has exactly $89,000 left in the bank, financing news isn't coming, and a Lind loan is forthcoming" would be material information, and henceforth, illegal since it didn't come from a PR/News release.

We can all guess as to the financial position of the company, but I won't read to much into Jim declining to answer the question. He's being safe and looking out for the best interests of the company and, in a way, us.

Until a news release is put out saying "Financing achieved" or "Private Placement" or "Lind loan" or "CEO loan", it's all conjecture.

I don't believe we are in a quiet period at all. Just my two cents.
