I've been thinking about those Amarin reps.

If it's true that they are talking amongst themselves about the possibility of a buyout, then I would think those rumors must have at least some possibility of coming true.

Why? If your a drug rep hearing rumors of a possible takeover, the first question you might ask is, "What's going to happen to me? Will I be let go? Will the new company keep me on? Should I be looking for another job now? Where will the kids go to school?

Wouldn't that distract from your focus on selling? Wouldn't that maybe make you want to look elsewhere for a job to get ahead of the curve?

JT wouldn't want that, right?

So if there was no buyout being considered, at least not over his dead body, I would think JT would want to put the rumors to rest by announcing inside the company that there is absolutely no chance of a buyout, so that his salesforce could focus on selling drugs instead of their homes.

On the other hand, maybe JT has done just that, announcing there is absolutely no buyout possibility. I suppose some reps might still believe the company could be sold. But seems for the most part there would be some way JT could find to put those rumors to bed and quell the talk if there really is nothing at all to them.
